Jewel Wrights Snyder

Mrs. Jewel Wrights Snyder, 96, of Clemmons died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born December 18, 1916 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late O. A. and Rosa Vogler Wrights. Mrs. Snyder was a lifelong member of Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Snyder; her son, Larry Snyder and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include five sons, Barry Snyder and David Snyder and wife, Sandy of Winston-Salem, Don Snyder and wife, Poppy of Florida, Ronald Snyder and wife, Hilda of Advance, and Tony Snyder of Clemmons; five grandchildren, Paul, Melissa, Sabrina, Kathy and Johnny; eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Graham and husband, Glenn of Salisbury. A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM at Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel and at other times at the home of David and Sandy Snyder. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
