Jewell Cogdill Propst

The late Jewell Cogdill Propst, age 87, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 10:20 a.m., at the Mallard Ridge Assisted Living Facility, in Clemmons, North Carolina. Beloved wife of the late David L. Propst; loving mother of Belinda P. McKeever, of Macon, Georgia, and David S. Propst of Advance, North Carolina; cherished mawmaw of Zach T. Kitchens of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Shannon K. Barnard of Lizella, Georgia, and Christopher H. Barnard of Cleveland, Georgia; great-mawmaw of Tristen Riley Miller, Jerzey Paisley Miller, and Isaiah Taylor Kitchens. She battled colon cancer and breast cancer, but succumbed to Alzheimer's. Services were held in Black Mountain, North Carolina on May 21. The family asks in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
