Jimmy Thomas Myers

Mr. Jimmy Thomas Myers, 77, of Mocksville passed away Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born October 20, 1936 in Davie County to George Zackeris and Fallie Phelps Myers. Mr. Myers was a member of Mocks United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Smith Myers of the home; a daughter, Misty Dawn Griffin; a grandson, Joshua Lane Griffin and wife Courtney; a granddaughter, Shadia Griffin and three great granddaughters, Charish, Bayli and Honor, all of Mocksville. He is also survived by a brother, Herman Myers of Advance; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Mocks United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Taylor and the Rev. Jackie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
