Jimmy Harrison Nance

Mr. Jimmy Harrison Nance, 61, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born November 28, 1947 in Forsyth Co. to the late Elbert and Annie Nance. Mr. Nance was a truck driver and loved to hunt and fish. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris McGuire. Mr. Nance is survived by his wife, Patricia Hill Nance of the home, a daughter, Christina L. Nance of the home, two sons, Michael H. Nance and wife Melynda of Advance and Christopher H. Nance of the home, two grandchildren, Kindall E. Nance and Connor M. Nance, a sister, Shelby Carithers of Stanleyville and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Nance will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank all of Jim's doctors and nurses at Baptist Hospital for the excellent care that was shown in his time of need.
