Jimmy Stilley

Jimmy Lee Stilley, went to meet his Heavenly Father on Father’s Day, June 16, 2019.  Jimmy was born August 10, 1953 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Junior Lee Stilley and Elsie Mae Merritt Stilley.  He is preceded in death by his stepson, Chad T. Shoaf.  He was a devoted husband, loving Daddy and “Pappy”, faithful fishing buddy, and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Annette Presswood Stilley of the home, son Timothy Knight (Amber), daughters, Christy Wykes (Gabe), and Candy Annas (Jason).  He had 9 grandchildren whom he adored and had a nickname for each of them Hannah “Hanny” Knight, Jackson “Hammer Jack” Knight, Cooper “Shooter” Knight, Raigen “Doodlebug” Wykes, Colin “Tooter” Wykes, Carley “Sweet Pea” Annas, Coleman “Fatback” Annas, Charlie “Charlie-O” Annas, and Blakely “Blakie” Shoaf, one sister, Peggy Stilley Winkler, one nephew Christopher Watts, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had a host of friends, fishing buddies, customers, and neighbors that he considered his family as well.  He was the proud owner of Jimmy’s Body Shop in Winston-Salem, where he worked diligently alongside special coworker and friend, Tony Hall. A celebration of life service will be held at Hanes Baptist Church located at 4210 Sabrina Lake Rd. Winston-Salem on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 12:00 pm. The burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 10:00am-12:00pm prior to the service.
