Joan "Jo" Reich Moore

Mrs. Joan Reich ""Jo"" Moore, 80, of Winston-Salem, died on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on May 5, 1935 to Dewey S. and Ethel Martin Reich. She was a 1954 graduate of Gray High School. On August 14, 1954 she married the love of her life, Olen C. Moore, who passed away in 2009. She was a very active member of Bethesda Moravian Church where she loved helping with craft classes in Bible school. After 37 years in banking she retired from Southern National, now BB&T. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers and one sister. Surviving is one brother, William C. Reich and wife, Mary ""Susie""; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew; three very special people who always called her grandma and had a special place in Jo's heart, Leslie Stovall and husband Tim, Caroline Kelly and husband Brian and their two sons, Theron and Camden, and Jennifer Grout. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Bethesda Moravian Church with Rev. Richard Spaugh officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethesda Moravian Church, 740 Bethesda Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
