Joan DeBonis Trottier

Joan Marie DeBonis Trottier passed away on October 18, 2013. She was born in Proctor, Vermont on June 20, 1955. Daughter of Michael and Barbara (Botsford) DeBonis. She married Ray Trottier on November 25, 1976. Joan had a profound love for her family, friends, reading and cooking. She was one of the founders of the book club, Wine, Women, and Words. She enjoyed sharing her love with family, friends, and nurses through cooking and baking. She had a positive outlook on life which gave strength and encouragement to everyone she met. In addition to her husband Ray, Joan is survived by her son Steven and daughter Allison. She is also survived by her brother, Richard DeBonis of Middlebury, Vermont and sister Judy Roberts of Palmetto, Florida and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. In true Joan fashion she has requested a celebration of life where friends and family can gather to remember the great times at Raylen Vineyards on November 2, 2013 at 4:00 pm.
