Jo Ann Hondros

Jo Ann Thompson Hondros, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on October 20, 2022.  Jo Ann was born in Winston-Salem on January 10, 1936, to John Thompson and Eloise Johnson Thompson.

In addition to her parents Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis James Hondros; grandson, Justin Stutts; and her siblings, John Fredrick Thompson and Nazalie “Diane” Thompson.

Survivors include her children: Debra Stutts, James “Pocky” Hondros (Pam) and Penny Cox (Chad); grandchildren: Tyler, Joshua, Evan, Nickolas, DJ, Lucas; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver, Karla, for her loving and compassionate care.

According to her wished a graveside service was held at Forsyth Memorial Park on October 21, 2022.
