He is survived by his wife Wanda and son Gary and daughter- in-law, Julie; two granddaughters, Allison Whitlatch (Terry) of Summerville, SC; and Jennifer Murray (Chris) of Winston-Salem; and two great grandchildren, Olivia Koontz and Walker Koontz of Fortmill, SC. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 on Saturday, February 13, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home located on Silas Creek Parkway, with Pastor Gary Byrum officiating.
