Joetta Misere

Mrs. Joetta Ann Misere, 75, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022.  She was born May 1, 1947, in Mechanicsburg, PA to the late Charles Jacob Shank, Jr. and Emma Myers Shank.  Joetta graduated from Cumberland Valley High school, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.  Following her graduation, she attended Monroe Community College.  Joetta was a faithful member of Gospel Light Baptist Church since her joining in November of 1992.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jerry Misere; son-in-law, Jim Mills; and brother-in-law, Don Nebinger.  Joetta is survived by eight children: David Nebinger (Heidi), Michael Nebinger (Sheri), Christopher Nebinger (Tracy), Cheryl Mills, Karen Brown (William), Debbie Gasser (Terry), Jerry Misere, and Jon Misere (Allison); twelve grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.  A funeral service will be conducted, 12:00 Noon, Monday, October 31st at Gospel Light Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon prior to the service at the church.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
