John Herbert Aderholdt

OAK RIDGE - John Herbert Aderholdt, 68, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home. John was born on August 29, 1948 in Harnett County to Claude Herbert and Isla Ruth Johnson Aderholdt. He was a 1970 graduate of Lenoir Rhyne and a member of Community Lutheran Church. John retired from Hanes Brands in Winston-Salem with over 27 years of service.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael C. Moore; father-in-law, Dwight H. Moore; his aunt, Joan D. Johnson and uncle, John N. Johnson, Jr.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Myra M. Aderholdt; two sons, John N. Aderholdt (Kara Baldwin), and David Aderholdt (Erin Pearsall Aderholdt); and his mother-in-law, Pansy B. Moore.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 at Community Lutheran Church in Summerfield with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery - High Point. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
