John Boner

John Wesley Boner entered the more immediate presence of his Savior on December 1, 2017. He was born in Forsyth County on May 24, 1942. He was an Air Force veteran and retired from Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. He also was a Past Master and a Past District Deputy Grand Master of the 26th Masonic District of NC and member of the Clemmons Lodge. He was a devoted member of Calvary Moravian Church. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Boner; daughter, Laural Olsen (Randy) of New York and stepson, Michael Williams (Kristal); and grandchildren, Tyler and Zachary Olsen and Kaitlyn and Owen Williams. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at God's Acre, Salem Moravian Graveyard with the Rt. Rev. Lane Sapp officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, December 4, 2017 with Masonic rites to be given at 7:45 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. Memorials may be made to Masonic Children's Home, 600 West College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
