John Joseph "Joe" Chucci, Jr.

John Joseph “Joe” Chucci Jr., 83, passed away on March 16, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC.

Joe was born on July 30, 1942, in Fort Bragg, NC, to the late John Joseph Chucci, Sr., and Margaret Brandon Chucci.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Wayne Chucci. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gillen “Jill” Marie Black Chucci; sons, John Grafton Chucci and Gary Ellis (Tonya); and Gary’s children, Grayson and Addison Ellis.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday. March 18, 2026, at Mt. Carmel Global Methodist, 4265 Ebert Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127, by Rev. Dr. Mary Miller. A burial will immediately follow the service at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 10:30am for a visitation at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Global Methodist, 4265 Ebert Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
