John Ford

Mr. John Rafael Ford, 67, of Winston-Salem passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Saturday, November 11, 2017 after a long battle with an illness. He was born February 23, 1950 in Fayetteville. Mr. Ford was a retired 1st Sergeant of the U.S. Army and was an avid military collector. He was married to his wife, Mrs. Frances Ford, for forty-six years. Surviving are his wife, a son, Billy Ford, two sisters, Irene of Winston-Salem and Jackie of High Point, a brother, Bobby of Tennessee, and a beloved grandog, Russel. A funeral service will be held in his honor 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, officiated by Pastor Gary Byrum. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2017, at the funeral home.
