John "Jim" Wiley Hatcher

John Wiley ""Jim"" Hatcher, born February 17, 1945 died at his home March 26, 2015 at the age of 70. Jim was born in Hamlet, NC to Ted & Ollie Hatcher. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters. Surviving are his wife of 35 years- Janice Lynn; daughter Amy; son Shane (Sabrina); three grandchildren whom he loved greatly - Stephen Harper, Lane & Emily Hatcher; two brothers - Steve & Wayne; two sisters - Beatrice & Glenda Rae; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday March 28th at 2:00 pm at Robinhood Road Baptist Church Led by Pastor John Hackworth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice 225 Davie Ave. Statesville, N.C. 28677
