John Wayne Hunter

John Wayne Hunter, 73, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at First Health Hospice House in West End, NC. He was born on September 25, 1942 to the late John Wesley Hunter and Maude Davis. Mr. Hunter attended White Plains Baptist Church in Mt. Airy and was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He is survived by his three sons; John Hunter of King, Timmy Hunter (Tracy) of King and Noah Hunter (Heather) of Mt. Airy and five grandchildren with one on the way. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall. Burial will follow in King Memorial Park.
