John Reginald Landreth

Mr. John Reginald Landreth, 79, of Clemmons, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Trellis Hospice.

John was born on March 25, 1946, in Forsyth County to the late William and Ruby Landreth. He worked as a landscaper for Wake Forest University until his retirement. Even after retiring, John spent as much time as possible outdoors tending his yard and often offered to mow his neighbors’ yards as well. He was a longtime member of South Fork Church of Christ.

John loved and was loved immensely by his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, nieces, and nephews.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Karen Landreth of the home; daughter, Tammy Rogers of Winston-Salem; granddaughters, Kimberly Shupe and Brittany Thurman; brothers-in-law, Gordon Bryan (Carol) and Jeffrey Bryan (Debbie); sister-in-law, Carolyn Bryan; several special nieces and nephews; special friend, Nancy Lima; and his beloved furbabies, Chester and Miss Kitty;.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Hospice, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
