Mr. John Wesley Linville, 70 of Winston-Salem, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Hospice of the Piedmont. A triplet son of Sarah and Dwight Linville, John was born July 11, 1948 in Forsyth County. He graduated from the special education program of the Winston-Salem School System. Later he was part of Forsyth Industrial Systems and Monarch's Studio 651, programs for individuals with disabilities. John was a long time resident of the Independence Group Home, a wonderful facility full of love, challenges and compassion. His group home family includes the dedicated staff, especially Sharon Wilson and Robert Simmons; housemates, Tim, Bonnie, Caitie, Cecelia and Michelle. Another special, caring friend is Emily Noble. Preceded by his parents and triplet brother, Jerry Linville. He is survived by his brother, Joe Linville (Sharron) of Winston-Salem; sisters, Linda McCoy (David) of High Point and Jenny Fulwiler (Howard) of Charleston, SC; nephew, Bill Fulwiler (Rachael); nieces, Shannon McCoy; Kristen Hoskins; Anne Camp (Wey) and Joy White (Bradley). A celebration of life service will be held 6:30 PM, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Christa Warise officiating. Family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springwell Network, Inc. (Memo: Independence Group Home), 3820 N.
