John Lizano

John Antonio Lizano, 45, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1972 in San Jose, Costa Rica. John was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He loved bowling, soccer, football and of course his dog, Coco. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Gerardo Lizano. Surviving are his wife, Michele Mariano Lizano; his mother, Haydee Barrantes Lizano; two sisters, Vera Lizano Barrientos and Ana Lizano Garcia; two brothers, Francisco Lizano and Daniel Lizano. Also surviving are John's mother and father-in-law, Rufino and Perlita Mariano and many relatives in Costa Rica and the Philippines. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, August 25, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Peter Nouck officiating.
