John Mayberry

John William Mayberry, 90, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

John was born in Forsyth County on May 18, 1930 to the late Rex and Ruth Childress Mayberry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Polly Mayberry; and his brother, Gene Mayberry.

Surviving family and friends include his sister, Mary Snyder (Leonard); brother, Tony Mayberry; good friends Hugh and Cindy Scott and their family, Robin Petro and family and Jeff and Karena Tate and family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Forsyth Memorial Park at the Gazebo, with Barry Davis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
