John "Jack Edward McClenny

John ""Jack"" Edward McClenny, 53, of Oak Ridge, passed away on July 9, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 26, 1962 in Moore County to Norman and Arlene McClenny. Jack enjoyed going fishing and spending time in the mountains. He was a big Carolina Tar Heels fan. He loved animals. Jack was a devoted husband, who was also a workaholic and was loved by his friends and coworkers.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Marsha McClenny; one step-son, Floyd Kish and wife Marcie; three step-grandchildren, Madison, Emma, and Ashton Kish; two brothers, Rick McClenny and wife Ellen Watson and Kevin McClenny and wife Karen; one niece, Meaghan McClenny; three nephews, Richard, Chris, and Mike McClenny; mother-in-law, Maxine Gallagher; and sister-in-law, Pat Cunningham and her husband, Toby.

A visitation for Jack will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of the Piedmont at 4527 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27409 or to a charity of the donors choosing.
