John Phillips, Sr.

Mr. John Edmund Phillips, Sr. passed away June 5, 2018 at his home. He was born November 7, 1938 in Syracuse, New York to the late Tommy Phillips and Phyllis Wightman Phillips. Mr. Phillips retired from Grass America in Kernersville. He was a member of Maple Leaf Golf Course and enjoyed spending time there with friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Tinie Phillips; seven children, John Phillips, Jr. (Wendy), Jim Phillips (Darci), Kay Phillips Middleton (Bruce), Chris Phillips, Connie Phillips Brake (Bill) Jason Phillips (Rebekah) and
Jeremy Phillips (Spring); thirteen grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Bailey, Connor, Sean, Jonathan, Catie, Nathaniel, Abigail, Phoebe, Virginia, Leyton and Cade; four sisters, Marilyn, Jinx, P.G. and Linda. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
