John Reidy

Kernersville – Mr. John Robert Reidy left us to be reunited with God his Holy Father on Monday, February 17, 2020. He was born on April 2, 1950 in Tulsa, OK to Jim and Margaret Reidy, who preceded him in death. John was raised and educated in Tulsa. He married Margaret Moore of Tulsa and raised their two children, Karen and Mike. John worked primarily in print advertising. Starting out as a layout artist, Catalog Manager, photography and print salesman for catalogs and flyers.

Finally, John started his own business as a portrait artist, having studied with several professional artists as a young boy through his adult years.

Unfortunately, John and Margie (Margaret) divorced amicably. Fortunately, both remarried in time, happily.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Beaman Reidy; his daughter, Karen Elizabeth (Reidy) Linstad (husband, Adam) of San Antonio, TX; his son, John Michael Reidy, of Greensboro, NC; stepdaughter, Amber Watson (husband, Dr. Kevin Watson) of Salisbury, NC; along with four grandchildren, Zoë Watson, Quinnlan Watson, Keeley Watson, and Ava Linstad.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
