John Sanford Sain

Mr. John Sanford Sain, 83, passed away November 17, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born November 3, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late William Andrew Sain and Minnie Elizabeth Lashmit Sain. Mr. Sain was a member of Lewisville Baptist Church. He retired from Quality Oil Company with 40 years of service. He loved to garden and enjoyed working in his yard. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Willis Speas and Margaret Wall. Mr. Sain is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Sain of Forest Heights Senior Living; a daughter, Teresa Ball and partner Jenny Clark; a son, Terry Sain and wife Kim; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Kathryn, and William Sain; a niece, Linda Winn; two nephews, Kevin Speas and David Angel; a sister-in-law, Peggy Ingram and a brother-in-law, Vernon Ingram. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Lewisville Baptist Church with Dr. George D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lewisville Baptist Church, 125 Lewisville-Clemmons Rd., Lewisville, NC 27023. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Forest Heights Senior Living and to Dr. Littleton, the Hospitalist at Forsyth Medical Center.
