John Tuit

Mr. John Tuit, formerly of Hays, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Silas Creek Manor after a lengthy illness with Lewey Body Disease. He was born on February 9, 1938 to John and Dora Tuit in Patterson, NJ. Mr. Tuit was a member of the CGI Church where he was a lay minister. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Paula Tuit of Winston-Salem; five children, David Tuit of Las Vegas, NV, Anita Tuit of Winston-Salem, Melissa Palmer of Monroe, Lisa Scheiber of Winston-Salem, and Daniel Tuit of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Brandon Christopher Tuit and Matthew Stefan Scheiber; and a brother, Jim Tuit of North Wilkesboro. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Mike Nolan officiating.
