Johnnie Nelson Kirby

WINSTON-SALEM- Johnnie Nelson Kirby, 72 passed away September 2, 2016. He was born in Forsyth County on May 10, 1944 to the late Troy and Edell Kirby.
Mr. Kirby was a great outdoorsman who love to fish and eat. He loved his family, especially his granddaughters. Johnnie graduated from East Forsyth High School and retired from RJR.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Hazel Lee Kirby.
Surviving are his wife, Dottie Kirby; two daughters, Kellie Kirby and Tracy Shaw; and two granddaughters Kelly Robinson and Cassie Shaw.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Crews United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Holcomb officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Tracy Shaw immediately following the graveside service.
