Jolie Marie Parlett Wells

Jolie Marie Parlett Wells, 55, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 1, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1971, to the late Robert Parlett and Mary Clark in New York. Jolie will be remembered for the dedication she held to help those around her. She spent the last third of her career as a nurse for the Kernersville VA Hospital, and her passion was to attend to those who served our grateful nation in their time of need. Jolie had a beautiful smile that could light up a room. She was kind, joyful, and compassionate. She loved her family deeply, was an excellent wife, an exceptional mother, and a great friend. More than anything, Jolie was a faithful servant to God. She will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jolie is preceded in death by her step-mother, Lynn Parlett.

Surviving are her loving husband of over 21 years, Matt Wells; a daughter, Kayla Dietz; two brothers, Robert Perlett and Christopher Parlett; as well as other extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jolie’s memory may be made to the Kernersville VA Healthcare Center at W.G.
