Joni Marie Hege

Joni was called home to be with her Lord and her mother Sarah Pegram, her father Kyle Hash and her mother in law Pee-Wee Hege, along with 2 neices, Samantha Hege and Little Michelle Hege, on September 29, 2015. She leaves behind a husband Ernest Hege of 18 years; a son Eric Hege; and a father in law, Bobby Hege; a very special uncle, Richard Hege and nephew Little Robert. She also leaves behind a brother Raymond Hash (Shelly Hash). Her extended family of 3 brother in laws, Michael Hege (Pam), Richard Hege (Angela), and Robert Hege (Angie) and 2 sister in laws Michelle Hege and Eva Hernandez all from Winston-Salem. She was a loving aunt to 6 nieces and nephews and one special niece, Nikki Parks (James) of Winston-Salem. With 11 great nieces and nephews. She was a loving niece to Shirley York and Margaret with a lot of cousins who loved her dearly. Joni was a caring, loving soul, who deeply loved animals and who had a big family who loves and misses her dearly. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 10am to 11am at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek with a graveside service following at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The Family is asking that memorials be made to Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home or at www.gofund.me/ze5b5gga instead of flowers.
