Josalene Jessup Walker

Josalene Walker, 87, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living. Jo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, a faithful member of Kerwin Baptist Church and was employed at Sara Lee for 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Louise Jessup and her beloved husband Bill Walker.
 
 She is survived by her two loving sons, Tommy (Lisa) Walker and Greg (Christy) Walker; her cherished grandchildren, Jamie (Jessica) Walker, Wesley (Lauren) Walker, Jordan (Hannah) Walker, Emily (Evan) Duggins, Ashlyn (Daniel) Morgan, Bradley (Brianna) Walker, Riley (Taylor) Walker, Maggie Jo (Chandler) Lowery; her 16 beloved great grandchildren, Mason, William, Stephen, Emmitt, Lucy, Grayson, Maddox, Benjamin, Caroline, Ellie, Sadie, Silas, Titus, Maci Jo Louise, and two in heaven. Jo is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Buford and Shirley Jessup, several nieces, nephews, and a special lifelong friend, Jo Leftwich. 
 
 A funeral service to celebrate Jo's life will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Kerwin Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Daniel Hawtree, Rev. Buford Jessup and Chaplain Trent Jessup. Following the service, Jo will be laid to rest at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 -11:45 AM. Hayworth-Miller is assisting the family.
 
 In heartfelt appreciation, the family graciously requests that flowers be sent to Kerwin Baptist Church. 
 
 The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Kerner Ridge Assisted Living and staff for their compassionate care and support to Jo.
