Joseph Henry Bennett

Mr. Joseph Henry Bennett, 82, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home. He was born May 11, 1941, in Pennsylvania to the late Nick Bennett and Mildred Aldridge Bennett. He was a member at Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church for 42 years where he enjoyed working and volunteering. Joseph retired from ADT Security Services after 34 years. He loved spending time with his family and reading. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Bennett. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Eddinger Bennett; two sons, Scott Bennett (Susan) and Lee Bennett; three grandchildren, Gabrielle Holland (Matt), Stormi Roberts (Tommy), and Carigan Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Maddi and Henlee Roberts; two brothers, Daniel Bennett (Donna) and Dennis Bennett (Michelle), a special sister and brother-in-law; Barbara and Warren McNeill, and two nieces, Mary Beth and Rebekah McNeill. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday February 6, 2024, at Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Craig Toth and Rev. Wesley McLeod officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30-2:00 PM Tuesday at Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church.
