Joseph Ernest Culver

Mr. Joseph Ernest Culver, 67, of Mocksville, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 25, 1946 in New York to Joseph Ansel and Carol Noyes Culver. He was a beloved husband, loving father, and doting grandfather. Mr. Culver retired from the CIA and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Donna Blake. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Culver, of the home; a daughter, Teresa Armstrong (Scott) of Lewisville; a son, Eric Culver (Raven) of Richmond, VA; two precious granddaughters, Lindsey Armstrong and Chenoa Culver; his mother, Carol Culver of Cayuga, NY; a sister, Susan Busker (John) of Fairbank, IA; and a brother, Larry Culver (Patty) of Walworth, NY; nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many, many friends and colleagues. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. E. Ray Mohrmann officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.
