Mr. Joseph Wayne Gautier, 56, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016. He was born in Forsyth County on August 24, 1960 to Albert Eugene and Peggy Ann Jones Gautier. Joe was a motorcycle enthusiast and he and his best friend, Donnie spent many miles on the road together. He was a father to the fatherless and a rock to his sisters and all those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy and Gene Gautier, his step-mother Barbara Gautier, and by a brother Jeff Gautier. Joe is survived by the love of his life, Stephanie, with 33 years of marriage. She always added a sparkle to his eye and a grin on his face when she walked in a room. She dedicated herself to loving and caring for him completely. Their marriage served as a testament to true love. Also surviving is the best thing that ever happened to Joe and Stephanie, their daughter, Angela Renae Gautier. He is also survived by his sisters Sharon Conrad and husband Jimmy, and Teresa Brady and James of Ararat, NC, nieces and nephews Jeffrey Gautier, David Brown, Jacob (Robin) Brown, and Lindsay Craven, a great niece Halle Brown, his special cousin Michael Smith and wife Betsy, and his best and lifelong friend, Donnie Hartle. Also surviving are his three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, a number of nieces and nephews, five great nieces, and one great-great niece.
