Joseph Junior Joyce

Kernersville - Joseph Junior Joyce, better known as ""J.J."", 77, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Center. He was born March 18, 1931 in Botetourt Co., VA to the late Joseph Sherman and Mary Austin Powell Joyce. Mr. Joyce was a member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, and retired from Martin Motor Lines. Surviving are; his loving wife, Maxine Bobbitt Joyce of the home, a brother, Woodrow Joyce of Hickory, and two sisters, Minnie Caviness, and Sarah Dezern both of Asheboro. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home Chapel in Kernersville with Rev. David Neese, and Rev. Jimmy Money officiating. Burial will follow in Brim's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Pilot Mtn. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm, Monday evening at the funeral home.
