Joseph Kiser

Joseph Orene Kiser, 84, a loving husband passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Oak Forest Health and Rehabilitation.  He was born April 29, 1934 in Stokes Co. to the late Joseph Wiley and Mattie Era Sheppard Kiser. Mr. Kiser retired from Western Electric after 34 years of service.  He enjoyed his retirement along with his hobbies of tractors and working in his garden.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Grady Warren Kiser, an infant brother; and step-mother, Veral Linville Kiser.  Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Annabel Lowe Kiser; brother, Robert Lee Kiser (Cheryl); sister-in-law, Mary Kiser and several nieces and nephews.  A Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Wesley McLeod officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, March 29, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to Oak Forest Health & Rehabilitation, Attn; Activities Dept., 5680 Windy Hill Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
