Joseph Lee Marshall

Joseph “Joe” Lee Marshall, 78, passed away peacefully at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on Saturday, May 31, 2025. He was born in Forsyth County to the late Joseph Henry Marshall and Sarah Holt Marshall on August 26, 1946. Joe was an incredibly kind soul. He had an immense love of the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting and owned many animals in his lifetime, all of which he cherished. Joe was the definition of a good neighbor. He was always helping those in need. In addition to this, Joe was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He served in the late 60’s and was part of the first fleets of nuclear destroyers in the water. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his sister, Charlotte Cox; grandsons, Jared Cox and Jeremy Cox; a nephew, John Cox; as well as a dear friend, Michael Lewis (Rita).

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. A visitation will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
