Josephine Gregory

Mrs. Josephine Claunette Smith Gregory, age 75 of Advance, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at her home.  She was born October 26, 1943 in Davie County to the late Joseph and Geneva Howell Smith.  Mrs. Gregory was a home maker and she enjoyed camping and loved her dog, Bucky.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Franklin Gregory and brothers Donald Ogene Smith and Joe Smith, Jr.  She is survived by three sisters, Christine Roberson, Pamela Purvis and Cherry Beaver (Gary) and many nieces, nephews and friends.  The family would like to give a special thanks to her care givers who helped her over the past year and she loved them all.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive care, 377 Hospital St # 103, Mocksville, NC 27028.  Online Condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
