Josephine Reid Stoltz

Mrs. Josephine Reid Stoltz, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 9, 1924 in Stokes County to Joseph Vaughn and Letha Atkins Reid. Mrs. Stoltz was a member of College Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert ""Buck"" Stoltz. Surviving are two daughters, Pam Murphy (Kevin) of Charleston, S.C. and Peggy Haggerty (Barton) of Raleigh; a son, Craig Stoltz (Sheila) of Plant City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Raina Evans, Jeffery Phillips, Robert Stoltz and Laurie Stoltz; a great grandchild, Landon; a sister, Sallie Johnson of High Point; a brother-in-law, Harvey Stoltz; a sister-in-law, Annie Laurie; a special friend, Ernest Hyde; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Brad Mullis officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.
