Joseph Mark Robertson

Mr. Joseph “Mark” Robertson, 63, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Woltz Hospice home in Dobson, NC. He was born May 19, 1962, in Surry County, NC, to the late Thomas Roosevelt “Bo” Robertson and Alma Atkins Robertson. Mark was a cook a Brintle Enterprise and The Lantern. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas “TR” Robertson; two sisters, Mary Frances Robertson and Kimberly Dawn Robertson. Mark is survived by his two siblings, Georgia Robertson and Kevin Robertson (Brandy); two nephews, Tommy Robertson (Donna) and Dustin Robertson; two great nieces, Hailey McKenize Robertson and Sadie Alexis Robertson. A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Joylight Baptist Church in Mount Airy, NC with Rev. Dale Bass officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson, NC, 27017.
