Joyce Ann Wells

Joyce Ann Wells, 91, of Stuart, Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Ms. Wells was born August 27, 1934, in Danville, Virginia, to Richard Wells and Icey Marshall Wells. Right after graduating from high school, Joyce began her career at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. She later retired as a Building Office Coordinator with 34 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her much loved niece, Jessica Wells. Joyce lived in great faith to Jesus reading the Bible daily and helping various groups for charity especially those that needed assistance during the holidays. She loved her family and friends, making certain everyone had plenty of her delicious meals at her home with gifts for all the children in her extended family. She loved to decorate for Christmas and also especially loved the color pink.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Beverly Miller (William); one grandson, William Benjamin Miller III; and her brother, Richard T. Wells (Kay). Also surviving are nieces and nephews of the Miller Family who lovingly called her Grandma Joyce. She so enjoyed the beautiful relationship of love in the family (Jason, Jana, Amber, Grayson, Maggie, Marik, Asa, and Nora)

A graveside service will be held 11:30AM Monday, December 22, 2025, at Parklawn Memorial Park in the Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor William Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Samaritan’s Purse Ministry- Billy Graham (for Disaster Relief or Operation Christmas Child)
