Joyce Anderson Wyramon

KERNERSVILLE – Joyce Anderson Wyramon, 83, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home. Joyce was born in Wayne County, Indiana on May 28, 1942 to Luke and Jesse Johnson Anderson. She was a 1960 graduate of Richmond High School and spent the next 65 years, being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 19 years of service. Joyce and her husband, Fred, lived in Fountain City, IN, for 47 years before relocating to North Carolina. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles all of her life. She loved her family fiercely and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Wyramon Chasteen; and three brothers, Paul Eugene, Bud, and Raymond Anderson.

Surviving are her husband, Fred Wyramon; one son, Bill Wyramon (wife, Shelly); three grandchildren, Braden, Kimberly, and Isaac Wyramon; three sisters, Pat Graham, Glenda Cline (Jim), and Sheila Wilkerson (Perry); and many extended family members in Tennessee. There are no formal services scheduled at this time. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
