Juadaine Holder Chambers

Pfafftown Juadaine Holder Chambers, 87, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2014. She was able to return home to be cared for by her family, after a lengthy period of declining health and a brief hospital stay. Daine was born September 22, 1926 to Bessie F. and Hubert E. Holder. She attended Salem College and graduated from North Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She was a lifelong nurse and homemaker. She was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church and when able, most recently attended Old Town Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Ted F. Holder. She leaves to her remembrance, her husband of 65 years, Romie R. Chambers; daughter, Lou Ann Maxson (Joe); two sons, Tim Chambers (Lori) and Mark Chambers (Dalene); grandchildren, Corey (Holly), Katie (Woody), Kelsey, Grant, Claire, David and 2 great-grandchildren, Sam and Jack. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Old Town Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Speas and family officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private burial will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park.
