Juanita Fletcher

Juanita Bradley Fletcher, 74, passed away on Nov. 27, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 19, 1943 to Verna Mae Spicer Bradley and Goval Morgan Bradley in Newport News, VA. Following graduation from Gray High School, Juanita worked at Baptist Hospital as a beautician for the patients. She went on to open her own business, Juanita's Beauty Shop and enjoyed a long and successful career. Juanita was a member at Pine Grove United Methodist Church and attended Central Tabernacle. She was a genuine and sincere lady who never told a secret. The best mom her daughter could have ever asked for, Juanita's deep love for Sabrina showed in every action she made. She was a "Proverbs 31" woman with a fun, feisty nature. She will be remembered for her generosity, love of animals and kind spirit. Above all, she loved her family. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 36 years, Bob Fletcher and a brother, Charles Bradley. Surviving are her daughter, Sabrina Ashworth; grandchildren, Dalton and Payton Ashworth; special niece, Cindy Sink (Frank); loving nephews, Mike Queen, Keith Weiss, Chris Grubbs, Butch Bradley, Mike Bradley and Tony Owens; nieces, Ginger Engels (Nick), Kim Brazier (Larry), 1st cousins, Roger Mackie (Phyllis) and Larry Mackie; as well as a host of special friends and a precious, canine companion, Brea. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM on Sat., Dec. 2, 2017 at Central Tabernacle with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Rev. Sandra Bovender will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
