Juanita Jeanette Simmons Fullen

Juanita Jeanette Simmons Fullen, 88, passed away Friday, June 19 after an extended illness. She was bron May 5, 1927 in Wise County, VA. Mrs. Fullen was a ""never retired"" homemaker who enjoyed dancing and reading, and she delighted in her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ethel Simmons and Walker Polly. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles D. Fullen of the home; daughters, Rebecca F. (Jack) Hopkins and Susan F. (Gregg) Moffitt; grandchildren, Adam C. (Amie) Moffitt and Amber M. (Daniel) Bryant; and great-grandsons, Charles P. Moffitt and Speer M. Bryant. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23 at United Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
