Juanita Nifong Hoots

Mrs. Juanita Nifong Hoots, 94, passed away on February 16, 2024, at Yadkin Nursing Care Center in Yadkinville, NC. She was born on February 11, 1930, in Henry County Virginia, the daughter of Vernon Nifong and Dorothy Long Nifong. She was of Baptist faith and retired from AT&T after many dedicated years of service. She was preceded in death by her son Michael “Mike” Newman; Parents Vernon Nifong and Dorothy Long Nifong; two Husbands Oscar Newman & James Roy Hoots; Brother Edwin Nifong. She is survived by her very dear friend Carolyn Bray; Daughter in Law Mary Newman; and a host of Cousins, and Friends. On Tuesday February 20, 2024 Reverend Keith Brock officiated the funeral ceremony and burial followed at Hebron United Church of Christ Cemetery.
