Juanita Phillips Taylor

Mrs. Juanita Phillips Taylor, 89, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at her home.  She was born in Forsyth County on November 16, 1934, to the late Clyde Henderson and Laura Sheets Phillips.  Mrs. Taylor retired from NC Baptist Hospital with over 25 years of service.  She was a lifelong member at Enon Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.   Mrs. Taylor loved to cook and share her talents with her family and friends.  She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Preceding her in death were three sisters and three brothers.  Surviving is her husband of 68 years, David Odell Taylor, Sr.; daughter, Robin Taylor Inabinet (Rhett); two sons, David Odell Taylor, Jr. (Suzzette Katzman) and Randy Lamar Taylor (Shannon); six grandchildren, Michael Burleson (Kelly), Heather Burleson Rattray (Donald), Morgan Taylor Beck (Andrew), Corbin David Taylor (Laura Williams), Carmen Elizabeth Taylor (Robert McCabe, Jr.) and Carlie Renee Taylor (Ian McFadden); four great-grandchildren, Easton Scott Beck, Kinley Jane Beck, Oaklyn Elizabeth Beck, and Avree Griffith; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2024, at Enon Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Messer officiating.  A burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Enon Baptist Church Choir Fund, 6321 Old Highway 421 East Bend, NC 27018.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
