Judith Kay Brooke Heiney

Mrs. Judith Kay Brooke Heiney, 68, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2017. She was born on July 3, 1948 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania to James and Margaret Hebel Brooke. Mrs. Heiney was a hairstylist for J.C. Penney. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a genuine person who gave of herself to her family, friends, and clients. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mike Heiney; a daughter, Terri Schafer; a son, Mike Heiney and wife Amy; eight grandchildren, Jimmy, Kelly, Joe, Jessica, Sam, Rachel, Matthew, Sarah; one brother, Jamas Brooke and wife Tamar of Indiana; and three nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, Mach 23, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Prayers will be offered up for Judy immediately following the visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Goodwill Industries, P.O. Box 4299, Winston-Salem, NC 27115.
