Judith ""Judy"" Lane Patton, loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, went to be with the Lord Sunday the 6th of November at Kate B. Reynold's Hospice House. Born in 1941 in Greensboro, NC, Judy studied music at Greensboro College. She was an accomplished pianist with a beautiful singing voice. Following college, she pursued her dream of being a wife and mother. Her passion was her love for the Lord and she shared that passion with many. Everyone who knew her would agree that her three daughters were the light of her life. Her compassionate, fun-loving personality was demonstrated throughout her life as she volunteered for charities, taught bible study, and brought laughter and love to all she encountered. Her smile was contagious and her hugs were heart-felt. Judy was preceded in death by her mother Iris Adkins Patton. She is survived by her father Ralph James Patton of Burlington NC; sister Sally Patton Winslow and husband Edward of Greensboro, NC; daughters, Laura Kinney McIntosh and husband Phil of Spartanburg, SC, Emily Kinney Haynes and husband Richard of Clemmons, NC, and Kathryn Kinney Culbertson and husband Chad of Kernersville, NC; grandchildren Jordan McIntosh Hawkins and husband Jim, Zachary McIntosh, Christopher Haynes and fiancée Nichole, Matthew Haynes, Emily Murdaugh, and Amber Murdaugh.
