Judy Hooker

Ms. Judy Ann Stanley Hooker, 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Beacon Place in Greensboro. Judy was born on February 4, 1947 in Guilford County to Allen and Rachel Stanley. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. Judy was also very crafty, she loved flowers and crocheting. She was a loving mother, granny, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Milissa Hooker; one grandson, TJ Hooker; three sisters, Etta Smith, Janice and Linda Stanley; one niece, Gloria Jarvis; and two nephews, Kelly Smith and Chris Shotwell.

She is survived by three sons, Keith Hooker (Pam), Tim Hooker (Rena), and Wilbert Hooker (Angie); six grandchildren, Bobby (Kortney), Terry, Charity, Rebecca, Mason, and Jace; one great granddaughter, Kaleigh Mae; two sisters, Olene and Patsy; three brothers, Alfred, Marvin, and Gene; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Judy will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Junior Stevens officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
