Judy Pegram Jarvis, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, while resting in her favorite spot at home. She was born on July 6, 1952, in Forsyth County to the late Fred Hester Pegram, Sr. and Sarah Caudle Pegram.
Judy courageously fought a seven-year battle with Parkinson’s disease. As her health declined and she was no longer able to do the things she once enjoyed, she found peace in knowing she would soon be going home to her Lord and Savior.
Judy was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and faithfully attended Friends Baptist Church for the past ten years. She took Home Economics classes at West Forsyth High School, where she developed skills that would serve her well throughout her life. She was an immaculate homemaker and was deeply devoted to her husband, son, grandchildren, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lacie Leona Pegram.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 53 years, Danny Jarvis; her son, Jason Daniel Jarvis; her beloved grandchildren, Genevieve and Leona Jarvis; her sister, Ann Loffredo (John); her brothers, Fred Hester Pegram, Jr. (Pam) and Ted Pegram (Penny); and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Friends Baptist Church, 1840 Lewisville-Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 6:00 PM.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Trellis Hospice and to all the caregivers who lovingly assisted in Judy’s care.
Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
