Judy Yvonne Massey

Judy Yvonne Massey, lovingly known as Mom, Grandma, Grandma Judy, Judy Booty, and Judy Judy passed away in her home at Trinity Elms on Thursday, February 22, 2024. She was born on November 23, 1940, to Edith Massey and is from Big Pine, NC.  She attended Griffith High School and was the captain of the cheerleading team.

Judy loved to paint and color. She made an incredible fried chicken and a lemon pie that no one else has been able to perfect. She was strong and resilient. She was a wildcard that gave it to you straight and loved her family deeply.

She is mom to Craig Hill (Kristen), Mike Hill, and Tara West Barham (Chuck), and grandma to Steven and McKenzie Hill. She was so very loved by her family as well as the friends and family she found at Trinity Elms. Judy will always be remembered and deeply missed. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 4:00 at Hayworth Miller, 3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem. All friends are welcome. Flowers may also be sent to Hayworth Miller. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
